Favourz uses a small number of cookies and browser local storage to keep the app working.
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or anything that follows you around the internet. We only use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and take payments, plus preferences so the app remembers your choices.
These are always on. They keep you signed in and allow the app to work securely. Without them, sign-in and payments cannot function.
Authentication session (local storage)
Keeps you signed in to Favourz between visits and refreshes your session securely.
Until you sign out or the session expires
Stripe
Used during checkout to prevent fraud and complete card payments securely. Set by Stripe on the payment screen.
Up to 1 year
Google / Apple sign-in
Used only during social sign-in to complete the authentication redirect and protect against request forgery.
Session only
These remember choices you make so you don't have to set them again on every visit.
Theme preference
Remembers whether you chose Light, Dark or Auto appearance.
Until you clear your browser data
Role selection
Remembers whether you use Favourz as a customer or a service provider.
Until you change your role or clear your browser data
You can clear or block cookies in your browser or device settings at any time. Because the cookies we use are necessary for sign-in and payments, clearing them will sign you out and reset preferences such as your theme.
